Hubby decided to us tag along.  We went to Metropolis Starmall in Alabang first, my sister-in-law was planning to buy a BlackBerry phone that day but ended up buying Samsung Y instead.  We also window shopped at the mall’s department store and then found some decent clothes at ukay-ukay, I bought one cute vest for Little Zoie for only a hundred! ^_^

After shopping, the family hasn’t decided where to eat first.  Hubby’s sisters then teased him to treat them lunch at Giligan’s.  With a couple of ‘lambing’ and teases, hubby finally agreed to treat the family out.

We ordered Groupies selection from Giligan’s Island menu.  Sorry, I forgot which groupies but it includes:  Inihaw na Baboy, Sinigang na Bangus, and Garlic Chicken.  We also ordered my favorite Giligan’s Pork Sisig, and two Mango shakes.  A total of Php 800+ lunch, not bad for a family of 5 1/2, Little Zoie is half-size, right?

Also, Giligan’s Island is now offering unlimited rice for only Php 36.00.  Not bad eh?  We upgraded ours instead of asking cups of rice or another platter, it seems expensive that way.  Actually, we finished 3 platters of rice, 2 of them were the unlimited.  ^_^

Next time, I’ll suggest that we eat at Super Bowl of China.  I miss eating there.  ^_^

Summer is fun especially with a couple of scoops of Selecta’s Super Thick Classic ice creams.  ^_^

I missed them when they visited Festival Supermall on April 21 – 22… but I can’t still come to these malls to grab a bite, might as well might a tub for me and my family over the weekend.

Questions such as is brown discharge are one of Diane’s side effects and why didn’t I get my monthly period after I finished the 1st pack of the pills?

I asked the last question first.  My OB-GYNE said that with Diane 35 it has a 3-4 days allowance before your next menstrual cycle.  If I didn’t have my next menstrual cycle on the 8th day after the 7 days pill-free, she advised me to come back.  But I did have my monthly period on the 5th day of pill-free days, so I didn’t went back.

My 2nd question is about the discharge.  She concluded that my body maybe adjusting since this is the first time I take contraceptive pills.  She also added, that if I get to experience it again on my 2nd pack of pills, she might consider changing the pills because it shouldn’t give brown discharge on the days that I’m drinking the pills.

All my concerns were answered, so now I’m waiting for my scheduled TVS orTransvaginal Ultrasound before I start on my 3rd pack of pills.  If all goes well, then I’ll stop on the 3rd pack of pills but if not, my OB said we’ll continue until on the 6th pack.

Let’s see what happens ’till then.

I love to eat.

Of course if you love to eat, you should learn how to cook.  Hmmm… I think I should re-think that statement.  I realized not everyone who loves to eat loves to cook as well.  :-)  Sorry, my bad.

Maybe if I’d been given a chance to enroll at any culinary schools, which means money and time, I have could have enrolled for an entire course by now.  I know that culinary schools are expensive so might as well think of starting a food business to go with the new culinary learning experience.

What if I’ll be given a chance to attend any culinary school I want, what will I do?

That will be a great opportunity that I will not miss! ^_^

First, I will look for a culinary school which can meet my criteria.  The school’s location and its financial arrangements.  Of course, even though somebody will pay for my culinary study, I will still prefer a school which provides high quality education for a not-so-expensive fee.

With my set criteria, I should look for a some kind of a culinary school direction which provides information on the school’s geographic location and financial programs for studying culinary arts.  If I’m going to be specific like searching for ‘California Culinary Schools‘, I expect to find culinary schools in California which provides the criteria that I’m looking for.

Next step, after finishing culinary arts… oh well, let me dream big in my blog. ^_^ I want to run my own restaurant, showcasing my skills as a cook and entice everyone with my menu.

Thinking about it, I really wish I could get a chance or an opportunity to study culinary arts.

Exactly a week ago, my little sister celebrated her 21st birthday.

She didn’t want anything for her birthday but a simple movie treat of the hottest movie in town, The Avengers.  Of course, as a big sister, I wouldn’t want to pass her birthday even without a little celebration.  Before we meet up, I decided to buy a cake (and a candle) at Goldilocks so she can blow and wish for.  Since we (hubby, me and April) are meeting in a mall I decided to buy there, but oh well, she read my mind.  She arrived at the meeting place first holding a thick book of intuit pos from QuickBooks on her right hand while a little red box on the other hand.  I don’t need to guess what’s in the red box actually, because it is already labeled, Red Ribbon.  ;-p

I took a picture of the birthday girl while waiting for hubby and our food, we also asked the KFC’s food crew if they have lighter to help us light the candle of this cake.  Nobody’s smoking, so we don’t have any.  The food crew said he doesn’t have one but when he learned that we are going to use it to light a birthday candle cake, he said he’ll find one for us.

As soon as hubby arrived, we lit up that little pink candle. ^_^

According to an article at WebMD.com, hives (Urticaria):

Whenever you’re in Tagaytay, or in Batangas, don’t miss eating their food specialty.  Batangas is known for cooking the best Bulalo ever! ^_^

Monday last week when I first get to taste one of KFC’s Cheesy Bacon Fest, Cheesy Bacon Bucket of Fries.  (Of course, I partnered it with my all-time favorite, KFC Krushers Rocky Road.)

Me and Little Zoie had a craving for it since we saw KFC’s TV commercial:

See that melted cheese and bacon bits?  It always makes my taste buds crave for it.

Actually we bought two Cheesy Bacon Fest that day but since hubby gobbled the Cheesy Bacon Twister easily I didn’t get the chance to take a picture of the yummy Twister.  Next time, I’ll try their Cheesy Bacon Pasta Bowl and the Cheesy Bacon Twister too. ^_^
